Synopsis:

Barista Brenna Kincaid can be described in three simple words – gorgeous, competitive and ambitious. And she really wants to win when her nemesis is Dante Caravicci, her fellow restaurateur and neighbour. But when forced to work together to save her best friend’s wedding, Brenna starts recognising and appreciating a side of Dante that just might be the one she always wanted. All is well in the world of love and happiness, until a competition pits them head-to-head and one of them goes way too far. Will they learn the biggest lesson: the only way to win is to lose their hearts? Or will they give it all away.

Review:

I loved this book. There is fun, drama, romance, chemistry, a little bit of heart break – basically the right combination of everything that can draw a huge female crowd. The plot is good and knows never tonlet up. The characters are strong and adjust well with the flow, and make you want to have them in your personal life. The style of writing makes you get so involve that you don’t realise there is a smile cracking open your face or a solitary tear rollig down your cheeks. All the elements – the rich setting, the element of competition and adrenaline, the tentative romance and the combustible chemistry work well with the whole book.

I think the only negative element that I can truly comment upon is the cover image that has been used. There is absolutely no connection of that with the title that has been used or the plotline that has  been described at the back of the book.

My opinion: I love the book. Abolitely adore the characters and I am definitely recommending it.

My rating: 4 out of 5
