Pierce Harrison has been the black sheep of his billionaire Harrison clan. 18 years back he vowed to never step back into his family’s Long Island compound. But when his beloved football career comes crashing down around him, he has no choice but to return to home in order to recuperate. What he didn’t expect was to meet the sweet-faced, prim beauty Abby McCord.

After reading the 1st Book in The Harrisons series and having a glimpse of the excerpt for the second book, I was really looking forward to the continuation of the series. I was really surprised and excited to receive a request for an honest review. Well other than the attractive tattoos, I did not find any correlation of the cover image with the title.  But the plot is as excellent as its predecessor. The entire romantic element was developed around a solid plot line where the two lead characters are trying to build up a life together beyond their vulnerabilities and a painful past.

I liked the characters and the way they have been sketched out and how they have been developed. As promised in the first book, the story has been kept as enticing as ever. The chemistry has been kept quite mild from what I expected, but the romance of the characters and how the family dynamics has been detailed out definitely lives up to the trend that was established in the first book.

My opinion:

I loved this book, just like the first book. And, I am definitely looking forward to the rest of the series.

My rating: 3.5 out of 5
