Hollywood is a cutthroat town. And, the Landis brothers are the reigning princes. Can a romance be built amidst the glitter, glam and lies of Hollywood.

Garrett Landis may be the Hollywood’s golden boy. But he finally sees life outside the realm of cameras and movies when he meets Jade Marlow. Can a romance built in shadows outshine in this world?

A well written romance always helps when your week is hectic. The plot has been well founded on romance with a powerful chemistry. The narration has been apt enough to unravel the relationship between the two characters. The characters have been given a full round justice, while giving them ample round to grow further for future installments of the series. The simplicity of narration has helped in maintaining a smooth flow of story while ensuring character development. More than this, there isn’t much you can talk about the story since the plot is pretty much expected.

While the title reflects the broken psyche of Jade and her growing relationship with Garret, the cover image looks more sleazy that what the whole story asked for.

My opinion: Not a bad book to take refuge in when the the work pressure get hectic.

My rating: 3 out of 5
