A hard-paced action-filled book involving covert ops specialist and Cyber-surveillance expert Lucas Johnson and stubborn and alluring motor engine designer Alex Cotts. Can love make a commanding presence amidst the looming threat and danger?

The book definitely made me dream about all kinds of spy business. Living upto the title, the book is completely filled with hard and fast action that will not let you have a moment to keep it down. The chemistry of the two lead characters is completely off the page and of-the-scale. What made the book so enjoyable is how the two character played well with each other and complemented the main plot of the book and the underlying theme of mystery and intrigue. There are few grammatical errors that I came across while reading the book, but they didn’t fail from delivering the main plot across.

My favorite character would definitely be Alex Cotter. A strong female character always pleases the feminist in me. Not only the author was able to show the strength of her character narrated against the backdrop of male-dominated automobile industry, but also the attributes of femininity made her appealing and vulnerable. The secondary characters have been developed with a potential to be reflected in future installment and wonderfully exciting series.

Coming to the cover image and the title, for a change I was definitely happy with how well both reflected each other and complimented the main plot line. There are definitely very few Romance novel out there with an image of a black guy, so definitely makes an attractive package.

My opinion:

Beyond the few grammatical errors, I had nothing much to complain about. A quick and enjoyable read. The detailing when it comes to automobile parts is quite amazing and kept bouncing off my head for awhile.

My rating: 3.5 out of 5
